“The EU notes with regret that Serbia remains without a functioning REM Council, following the resignations of several elected members citing irregularities in the election process,” the European Union (EU) Delegation to Serbia said Friday on a post on its official X account, underlining the importance of a functioning REM Council for media reform.
“We call for it to be constituted in a transparent and inclusive manner, in line with the legal framework and as defined in the Reform Agenda,” it said.
