The European Parliament mission is scheduled to visit Serbia this week. President Aleksandar Vucic has characterized the delegation’s visit as “uninvited and unannounced,” saying he has no intention of meeting with the MEPs. Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic had a similar message, claiming the mission’s arrival appears to ignore the protocol. The EP mission has denied these allegations.

Representing the Serbian government, the mission will meet with Foreign Minister Marko Djuric, SNS MP Milenko Jovanov, and Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) MP Dusan Bajatovic.

The delegation is also scheduled to meet with students, NGOs, and opposition representatives.
