He said that the way the MEPs spoke with media representatives showed that they want facts and data, and to hear them directly from people working in the media in Serbia. “At the meeting, we talked about the state of the media in Serbia, and what was interesting to me is that representatives of the European Parliament were actually already familiar with a good part of the situation, but of course there were some things they did not know. For example, they did not know the data that was presented — that Vucic, as President of Serbia, was mentioned on media with national frequencies last year an average of 470 times per day. They were surprised by that, but not so much as to think it was something they did not expect to hear,” he said.
