Opposition list for Sevojno local elections rejected, candidates allege regime pressure

„During the submission of the documentation, as the list holder, they gave me a document to sign, this was the certificate of submission for the election list, which I signed because the head of the election commission gave me that document. Meanwhile, the founder of the citizens’ group, Stanko Cirkovic, had the obligation to sign that document. Following that, they raised an objection; they had the idea to completely reject our list and keep the entire documentation, which would have forced us to collect signatures and submit documents all over again, for which we probably would not have had enough technical time,“ Matic said.
