“We have banned the export of diesel, gasoline, and crude oil, reduced excise duties by 20 percent, and placed state diesel reserves at the disposal of oil companies, thereby successfully protecting the market from shortages and price spikes. Everything NIS produces is designated for our domestic market, and they are currently managing to meet all demands. Due to the jump in oil prices, imports of refined products have significantly decreased. We are facing a variety of factors, including the oil crisis caused by conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine, as well as the sanctions that NIS has been contending with for over a year,” Djedovic Handanovic said.
