NCEU: Restricting public participation in law-making processes undermines Serbia’s EU integration

According to the NCEU working groups for Chapters 23 and 24, which cover these laws, the competent institutions formally meet minimum procedural requirements while simultaneously limiting the ability of the public to meaningfully influence the proposed legal solutions. Additionally, the public is not adequately informed about the launch of public consultations, consultations are launched at the end of the working week and include non-working public holidays, and consultations on several complex and significant laws were simultaneously organized.
