Last week, the student body voted to end the blockade, which had been in place since October 13, and announced a return to regular classes starting Monday, November 24. At the time, a representative of the independent Parents’ Council said that the fight to meet their demands would continue. Key demands include the dismissal of acting principal Danka Nesovic, the reinstatement of fired teachers, the formation of a School Board, and the election of a new principal from within the school’s staff.
