He told the state TV (RTS) that the Defense Ministry invested major efforts over the past few years to meet the conditions needed to restore conscription, including several working groups to draft a comprehensive analysis of birthrates in Serbia. He said the 75 days for mandatory military service set in a draft law on conscription was not enough to train troops.
