Belgrade University condemns political manipulation with student’s death

“The University of Belgrade strongly condemns the misuse of the tragic event at the Faculty of Philosophy for political manipulation, the shameless campaign by tabloid media, and the unlawful pressure on the University and its constituent parts. We are particularly outraged that, under the pretext of an investigation, documentation is being seized, staff are being disturbed, and the functioning of the University’s bodies, and services are being obstructed, including international cooperation and official visits. The Faculty of Philosophy has been subjected to the same treatment,” a statement said.
