Energy minister: Serbia wants to be part of nuclear renaissance

“Energy planning is done decades in advance and requires bold decisions today for the next 50 years, and we need stable energy for a stable Serbia. We require more electricity to develop our economy, new technologies, and artificial intelligence, which means we need a nuclear power plant by 2040 to achieve our goals and support economic growth. Energy is the foundation, and nuclear power provides a solid base,” the minister told the gathering, which was organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and France.
