“Despite a heavy police presence in the area, officers failed to prevent the assault and intervened only after the violence had already taken place. Such passivity in the face of organised aggression is unacceptable. This is not an isolated incident, but part of a broader pattern of intimidation that has increasingly characterised President Vucic’s system of power,” the EDP said in an X post.
