Institute reports alarming vote-buying in 10 Serbian municipalities ahead of elections

“Our monitoring indicates multiple forms of election-related crime, most notably vote-buying; the use of threats, blackmail, and extortion to secure guaranteed votes, the exploitation of social welfare recipients and other marginalized groups, the misuse of public resources for campaign purposes, and political violence and voter intimidation,” the Kareja Institute said in a press release.
