Kos wants to believe that Serbia is on the path to EU accession, adding that as commissioner she is obliged to help the country stay on that path but warned that both sides have to work on it. What we are seeing now is a clear step backward and I don’t like it because it delves into the independence of the courts and prosecutors which is at the heart of the accession process.
