Skoda tells N1: We are localizing production in Serbia, we have offered trams and trains to Serbian authorities

“Our intention is to localize the production of both trams and trains. This intention fully corresponds to Skoda’s offer to institutions in Serbia – specifically, trams made to measure for the capital Belgrade and electric trains for broad use on Serbian rail infrastructure. Skoda is the European leader in narrow-gauge trams, with a market share of more than 35 percent, and this is exactly the technology required in Belgrade. We combine 100 percent low-floor design and bogies, and equip trams with the most advanced digital applications for urban transport.
