Djokic told the crowd that the police had no legal explanation to be there and failed to show respect for the autonomy of the university. He said they seized computers and receivers and searched offices looking for documents with regime TV stations going live from the building. “They were not there to investigate but to humiliate. They were there to tell every professor, student, citizens: see what happens to people who don’t keep quiet,” he said.
